A lovely little market in Paris. Crowley and I took a bit of a holiday. I thought it would be nice to bring back a few souvenirs.

How is France here? Compared to what we know.

Remarkably similar to the Paris I'm familiar with, actually. Many of the same mainstays are still there. Just enough difference that everything is a bit, well, off, but still recognizable.

[He's less thrown off by the vaguely anachronistic technology because he's a walking anachronism himself and time has a tendency to blur a bit in his mind.]

It's unusually for something to be so similar and yet have a remarkable difference.

Well this is my first trip to a universe other than my own, so I can't say for certain, but my first thought is that this place being a hub where so many other universes seem to connect, perhaps there's a bit of settling to the mean, a general blending of the characteristics of the other worlds it touches.

Your world has enough similarities to my own. It's not an unreasonable theory.
