Any more can shut the mind down for an uncertain amount of time. Any less will make the body immobile, but keep the mind active. We wouldn't want either of those happening.

A spray sedative! I was trying both out and in lower dosage, the deadly nightshade actually worked better, and the lavender needed more sprigs to be effective.
Of course, the former needs a complete amount before it becomes poisonous, but...
