Regarding the porter? Yeah. Maybe after things have settled down and we can figure out a solid plan. The smoke illusion is still a great idea, if you're still on board for doing that.
I am. Though it may be simpler to slip in during the chaos. They wouldn't be expecting it. At the very least we could begin discussing it, forming said plan.
( by the time that jane arrives lilith was already slowly drinking a glass of wine. the lights in her place are dim, the room lit by the fire and a few candles.
there's a friendly smile as she opens the door, stepping aside to let her in )
[Jane smiles and steps inside. It is kind of dim, but it feels cozy.]
Thank you, some water would be great.
[She has with her a small folder where she's written down some notes of who else might want to be involved and what they can contribute. She doesn't expect anything to be set in stone until they really throw their hats in, and Jane herself has some concerns too.]
[Jane brings out her notebook, the black cover looking a little worse for wear, and flips to a page to refresh her memory.]
I have a number of people who are interested in being distractions, on top of your offered spell. Peridot, Rikki, and Carol, for example. We all want answers about the porters, as do a number of other people, but the government isnβt likely going to give anything. Iβve attempted to look into the mechanics of one of them before, but you saw how that went.
There are a lot of guards all over the place, so I was thinking they could work in tandem, but independently as well. Rikki could cause a water leak in one area, Peridot could cause some ruckus in a different spot, and the same with Carol. It would create confusion, but maybe having so many things happen at once would alert someone that somethingβs up.
[Government workers, contrary to popular belief, were not all idiots.]
Whilst a distraction can be useful something like this would arouse their suspicions. What you want is to distract them by making them believe that nothing is out of the ordinary.
( it's the only way they'd been able to get their plan close enough to lucifer -- disguise it as what he wanted until it was too late for him )
How many people would it require to get you looking at the Porter? Ignoring the guards.
( she needs numbers first, to get a mental picture. the guards don't concern her and wouldn't affect this -- she has an idea in mind )
Ignoring the guards? I could get to it by myself. That is what I was able to accomplish last time, though it didnβt last long.
[She just doesnβt want to let the people who offered to help her out, not when they decided that risking their standing with the government was worth it.]

Would you like to do this in person?

( and she sends her address )
I will be home all day.

Perhaps you should start with your idea and we can see where-- adjustments can be made.

( planning with larger numbers only worked if everyone stuck to the plan )
What exactly would their roles be in this?
